Last year, PlayStation announced that it would be skipping E3 2019 altogether. Recently, EA announced that they will not have a press conference this year, but they will still have EA Play. Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI won’t be the only ones not a part of E3 2019. All that is really known about them is that they will be “next-gen” titles. This will also be used for the environments and characters in the game.īoth Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI were announced during E3 2018. Bethesda explained that they are using photogrammetry technology which is able to take scans of objects and translate them into a highly detailed 3D model. The video also provided a sneak peek to the technology they plan to use for the game. Well, since they made the announcement today about me, as a character in the next TES game …I can show my favorite thing I brought away with me!!! /lIoEJ3tz83 Fans had been campaigning for her to be in the game for a while and Bethesda was able to make it happen. Toutes les infos du jeu The Elder Scrolls VI, sur PC et Xbox Series XS, de genre action-aventure et jeu de rôles, développé par Bethesda Game Studios et édité par Bethesda Softworks. Perhaps Microsoft recognizes that Bethesda's core competence is in delivering generational single-player games that define genres for years to come. As Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI are being made on the same engine, gamers can gauge their strengths and weaknesses at the earliest in November this year, when the former releases on. Interestingly, Bethesda remains committed to single-player games after it was acquired by Microsoft earlier this year. However, it appears that Bethesda is having none of it. It's easy to feel like every studio is working on a game with a multiplayer component these days. Howard then says at the end of the interview that he wants Elder Scrolls 6 to "stand up to the series as it has been in a really big, impactful way when it comes out." What's next for Bethesda? Starfield is Bethesda's first new IP in years. We do not doubt that Bethesda is still thinking about the fallout from Fallout 76 (get it?). In the same interview, Howard clarified that the studio wants to get things right. Because of this, the studio decided to risk pushing Elder Scrolls 6 back even further in favor of working on a new project.ĭon't worry though, Howard hasn't forgotten about Elder Scrolls at all. Once they'd finished working on Fallout 4, the team decided to work on Starfield because the team felt like "the when could be never" and Starfield would never become a thing. Howard explained that the team had always wanted to "do something else for a long time".
